What is Sorting & Rework
Sorting & Rework is a containment service used when a shipment fails inspection or a customer complaint is raised. Our team goes on site to sort defects, supervise rework, re-pack and re-label goods to your AQL standard, then re-inspects before release.
What the service includes
- 100% or sampled defect sorting by trained inspectors
- Root-cause analysis of the failure
- On-site or partner-facility rework supervision
- Re-packing, re-labelling and consolidation to your requirements
- Re-inspection and AQL re-verification
- A containment report that closes the case
When to use Sorting & Rework
Use this service after a failed inspection, a rejected shipment, a customer return, or whenever non-conforming stock must be made shippable without returning it to the factory.
Why Sorting & Rework matters
- Recovers value from at-risk or rejected stock
- Protects downstream customers and your brand
- Avoids costly return-to-factory logistics
- Provides documented evidence the issue was resolved
