Sourcing countertop ovens, air-fryer ovens or built-in ovens from China? CGF Inspection runs pre-shipment inspection for electronic ovens across Guangdong and Zhejiang, checking heating function, temperature calibration, electronic controls, door hinges and gaskets, electrical safety (CE / ETL / CCC), and inner-carton packaging for export.

Why a Pre-Shipment Inspection for Electronic Ovens

A countertop or air-fryer oven looks simple on the outside, but it packs a high-power heating element, an electronic control board, a fan, a door with multiple hinges and a tempered-glass panel. Each of these subsystems can fail in the field — a 20 °C temperature offset, a flickering display, a door that no longer closes flush, an audible fan bearing. Our pre-shipment inspection for electronic ovens is built to surface these issues before the container leaves the factory.

We apply IEC 60335-1 / IEC 60335-2-9 for household cooking appliances, follow AQL General II / Special S-4 sampling, and run a live 30-minute function test on every sampled unit.

What We Check on Electronic Ovens

Function test: power-on, control-panel responsiveness, all preset modes (Bake / Broil / Air-Fry / Toast / Pizza / Dehydrate / Warm) at default temperature and time, countdown timer accuracy. Temperature calibration: at least three temperature points (e.g. 100 °C / 175 °C / 230 °C) measured at the geometric centre of the cavity using a calibrated oven thermometer; tolerance +/- 10 °C unless tighter is specified. Door and gasket: hinge alignment, soft-close, seal compression around the full perimeter, tempered glass without chips or scratches, interior light functionality. Electrical safety: ground continuity, hi-pot test on request, rated power vs. nameplate (+/- 5 %), plug and cord specification matching the destination market, CE / ETL / CCC label and warning markings. Mechanical: rack slides, crumb tray, rotisserie spit and forks if applicable, broiler pan, accessory bag completeness. Packaging: inner foam fit, EPS / moulded-pulp protection, master carton strength, drop test on request, bar-code / model-number verification, packing list per carton. Quantity and colour / SKU mix vs. purchase order.

Inspection Workflow and Reporting

Schedule the inspection when the lot is at least 80 % packed and ready. We confirm with the factory dispatcher 24 hours before visit. Our inspector spends 4 to 8 hours on-site selecting samples, running function tests, photographing any defects, and recording results on a tablet. You receive a complete English inspection report within 24 hours — AQL table, temperature-chart photos, nameplate shots, carton and label photos, and an unmistakable PASS / FAIL / PENDING decision. If the lot is PENDING, we guide the rework, then do one free re-inspection once the lot is ready — included.
