Are you sourcing beauty care beds, spa treatment tables or physiotherapy tables from China? CGF Inspection provides pre-shipment inspection for beauty care beds across Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, checking frame strength, hydraulic or electric adjustment, leather or PU upholstery, wheels and locks, fire-retardant foam, and packaging for export.

Why a Pre-Shipment Inspection for Beauty Care Beds

A beauty care bed combines a metal or wooden frame, a hydraulic or electric lifting mechanism, foam padding covered in PU or genuine leather, and accessories such as face holes, armrests and wheels. A failure in any one of these before shipment — a tilted actuator, a cracked gas strut, a peeling leather seam, a wobbly caster — quickly turns into a customer return, a safety claim or a denied warranty. Our pre-shipment inspection for beauty care beds is designed to catch these problems while the goods are still at the factory.

We follow ANSI / BIFMA, EN 16139 and GB 28480 guidance for salon and spa furniture, and apply AQL sampling (General II, Special S-4 default) unless you specify otherwise. Our inspectors physically tilt each sampled bed, cycle the lift 5 to 10 times, unroll the leather to look for cracks, and press every joint to feel for play before sign-off.

What We Check on Beauty Care Beds

Frame and welding: visual on welds, tap test for loose joints, load test of 150 kg for 5 minutes on sampled units. Hydraulic and electric actuators: full stroke raise-lower cycle, listening for pump noise, current draw check on electric versions, holding test at maximum height for 60 seconds. Upholstery: PU or leather cover, stitch density, zip alignment, fire-retardant foam density (kg/m3) on request, water test for easy-clean claims. Accessories: face-hole inserts, armrests, headrests, paper roll holders, wheels with brakes, locking levers, remote-control function and labelling. Packaging and labelling: drop test on master carton, foam fit, barcode / SKU / colour label verification, carton markings for export. Quantity and assortment check against your purchase order, colour mix, and packing list per carton.

Inspection Workflow and Reporting

Book your inspection at least 48 hours before production is 100 % complete. We confirm the factory is at 80 % packing or more, confirm the date, and dispatch an inspector in the same province. On-site inspection takes 4 to 8 hours depending on lot size. Our inspector selects samples per AQL, performs each test, photographs every defect found, and records results on a tablet. You receive a full English inspection report within 24 hours, with high-resolution photos, an AQL table, defect summary, and a clear PASS / FAIL / PENDING decision. If the result is PENDING, we guide the rework, then conduct a free re-inspection once the factory confirms the lot is ready again — included in the original quote.
