China Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) / Final Random Inspection (FRI) for Freezer When 100% of the freezer batch is finished and at least 80% is packed into master cartons, CGF dispatches a qualified inspector to the freezer factory to run a final random inspection under the internationally recognised AQL standard. Samples are pulled at random from the packed lot, then the unit carton and master carton are both opened and examined against your specs, your Golden Sample and your approved packaging list. Main check points for a Freezer PSI: • Verify the product against your specification, Golden Sample, artwork, packaging list and shipping marks. • Cooling performance test: power-on, run for the agreed time, record pull-down temperature and steady-state temperature. • Compressor start / stop, thermostat range, defrost cycle, interior light, door gasket seal and door-switch function. • Visual and workmanship: dents, scratches, rust, paint, weld lines, panel gaps, alignment, door hinge operation. • Internal accessories: baskets, dividers, locks, keys, ice-trays, manuals, warranty cards. • Safety and electrical: plug type, voltage & frequency, earthing, insulation resistance, hi-pot, leakage current, power-cord length and markings. • Drop test, vibration test and internal foam / corner-protector check on a sampled unit. • Inner and outer carton: bar-code scan, FNSKU / UPC check, model and serial-number labels, country-of-origin, capacity (L), energy rating, refrigerant type and net / gross weight. • Master carton: quantity, dimensions, gross weight, pallet pattern, stretch-wrap, strap, IPPC / ISPM 15 heat-treated or fumigation mark for wood packaging. • Full counting of the packed lot and reconciliation against the production quantity. CGF issues a clear Pass / Pending / Fail decision on site, supported by a same-day English inspection report with photos, measurements and AQL tables, so your forwarder can release the container without delay.
