CGF 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection for Furniture & Stone Products

Importing furniture, stone slabs or stone vanity tops from China factories? CGF INSPECTION offers a 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection - every single unit of your order is checked against your specification before the container is sealed, so cracked slabs, scratched leather and workmanship defects never reach your buyer.
CGF 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection for Furniture & Stone Products
For high-value, defect-sensitive orders such as stone slabs, stone vanity tops, marble furniture, leather sofas and upholstered seating, a standard AQL sampling inspection can leave dangerous defects hidden in the unsampled cartons. CGF INSPECTION's 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection is the answer - every single unit of your order is opened, examined and graded against your specification before the goods leave the factory.
What is 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection
This is the most thorough inspection CGF offers. Instead of statistically sampling a percentage of cartons, our inspectors lay out 100% of the finished goods and check each unit for appearance, workmanship, dimensions, color, surface finish, hardware and functional integrity. Defective units are physically separated from good units, repaired where possible, and re-inspected before the container is loaded.
Best Suited For
1. Stone & Stone Composite Products
Sintered stone slabs, marble vanity tops, quartz countertops, engineered stone furniture, stone TV stands and dining tables - any product where a single cracked corner or chip can ruin a USD 200-2,000 unit and trigger expensive after-sale claims.
2. Upholstered Furniture
Leather sofas, fabric sofas, recliners, dining chairs, ottomans and beds - where scratches, stains, loose stitching, foam density issues and frame defects must be caught before shipment.
3. Cabinet & Storage Furniture
Kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, bathroom vanities and bookcases - where door alignment, drawer slide quality, edge banding and internal finish are critical to user experience.
4. Solid Wood & Panel Furniture
Dining tables, bed frames, desks, coffee tables and TV cabinets - where wood grain matching, surface smoothness and joinery strength determine the perceived quality.
What CGF Inspectors Check - 100% Coverage
1. Surface & Finish
Every unit is examined for cracks, chips, scratches, dents, color variation, gloss inconsistency, glue residue, fiber protrusion and uneven polishing - on all visible faces including edges and corners.
2. Dimensions & Geometry
Critical dimensions measured on a sample, plus full visual verification that every unit matches the golden sample in shape, proportion and flatness.
3. Workmanship
Stitching, edge banding, welding, dowel joints, corner blocks, backing, foam density, leather grain direction and surface wrapping - checked against your workmanship standard.
4. Hardware & Function
Drawer slides, hinges, handles, gas lifts, casters, adjustable mechanisms and connectors - all operated to confirm smooth function and no loose parts.
5. Color & Grain Consistency
For natural stone and solid wood, every unit is checked for acceptable color/grain variation against the pre-approved golden sample range.
6. Cleaning & Packaging
Each unit is cleaned, wrapped and packed as specified. Protective foam, corner guards, edge protectors and master carton strength are verified unit-by-unit.
How the Inspection Is Executed
Day 1: CGF inspector arrives at the factory, reviews the production status and confirms the goods are 100% finished, packed and ready. Day 2-3: Inspector and helper open 100% of cartons in a dedicated inspection area, examine each unit, mark defects with red stickers, separate defective units from good units, and document everything with annotated photos. Day 4: Defective units are repaired (if feasible), re-inspected, and re-classified. Day 5: Final report is delivered to the buyer with pass/fail rate, defect distribution, repair outcome and clear loading recommendation.
Inspection Deliverables
Within 24 hours of inspection completion, you receive an English report that includes: per-unit pass/fail summary, defect type breakdown with photos, color/grain variation notes, dimension measurements, repair outcome, packaging verification, and an overall go/no-go recommendation for shipment.
When to Choose 100% Full-Scope vs AQL Sampling
For orders below USD 5,000 with low defect risk, AQL sampling is usually sufficient. For orders above USD 5,000, defect-sensitive products (stone, leather, premium furniture), new factories without proven quality history, or shipments to buyers with strict return policies, we strongly recommend 100% Full-Scope Pre-Shipment Inspection - the cost is a small fraction of the potential after-sale liability.
