China Extensive Factory
Audit
The
Extensive Factory Audit (EFA) is usually performed before you intend
to place an order with a new vendor.
This factory audit is usually
performed during one or two days. This factory audit is performed at your manufacturer's
premises.
Much of the risks associated
with production in China can be eliminated by ensuring you are working with a
reputable and capable manufacturing partner. To achieve the best pricing, you
need to be sure that you are dealing with a genuine manufacturer and not a
'middle man' or trading company.
Commissioning AQI Quality
Inspection to carry out an Extensive Factory Audit (EFA) gives you the
confidence that your supplier is genuine, capable and able to meet your
production requirement.
All our CGF inspectors have
experience working in the same type of factories that they are auditing. They
know what to look for and will give you an unbiased view of the real
capabilities and practices on your production line. In an EFA, we look at the
following areas;
Technical Competence
Existing Capabilities
Current Capacity
Maximum Future Capacity
General Management
Procedures
Technical Management
Processes
Quality Management System
Financial Management and
Company Health
Existing Customer Base
Staff Training and Welfare
We carry out a detailed
physical inspection and documentation check on each of the areas above. This
information is then used to generate a detailed report outlining your
supplier's strengths and weaknesses.
If our audit highlights areas
where you need to see improvement, we have the experience and expertise to work
with your supplier to modify and improve their processes to give you the
confidence.
The Extensive factory audit is
normally suited when you are down to a short list of suppliers. If you have a
large number of potential suppliers, it is likely that the Basic Factory Audit
will be a more suitable and cost effective solution.
Choosing
the right manufacturing partner is vital. An Enhanced Factory Audit will give
you all the information you need to make that critical decision.
